Burgundy Lips, 14"x18", acrylics, 2012AD. £250 |
This is the most difficult painting I have ever had to
photograph. Not simply because it is so dark but also because of its subtle colourations. A silver
metallic paint was used in the mix and as a result it sparkles in its darkness.
I've since been told that this image is so caliginous that on some
computer-monitors, it's virtually invisible. To lighten is to lie my friends.
This painting was originally 'sketched' by Frenchman & Artist Yoann Reininger.
